Thunphel was founded in Thimphu in 2014 and remains based here today.
We are a small, woman-owned company. We work with people we know and trust, and we take on only the journeys we can give proper attention to.
When you write to us, you are speaking with someone who lives here. The monasteries, villages, trails, and festivals you are asking about are places we know from experience, not from a brochure.
Our office is on a quiet street in Thimphu. From here, we design private journeys for travellers who want to experience Bhutan thoughtfully and at their own pace.
We are licensed by the Department of Tourism and members of the Association of Bhutanese Tour Operators.
