Where you land
We choose the place together. It could be a light hike, a glacial lake or an alpine meadow. The choice depends on your fitness, the weather and what you came for. The highland air is thinner and colder than in the valley, so tell us about any health concerns when you book.
What you eat
Lunch is local and slow: red rice, ema datshi, dried meat, fruit and tea. Nobody rushes you. Stay as long as the weather and the schedule allow.
How the day goes
It is a half day trip, from Paro or Thimphu. You fly out, land, walk if you want to, and have lunch. Then you fly back.
When to go
Year round. Cloud can delay or cancel a flight at any time, so keep a spare day in the plan.
